Taking breaks is the secret to better learning (our tips)

Our top tip for improving your learning - taking breaks

Let's face it - learning a language is rewarding, but it can also be mentally draining. So, what is the key to making real progress? Sometimes you just need to take a step back and recharge. Disconnecting from your studies does not mean you are falling behind. In fact, giving yourself some much-needed downtime can help you come back even more focused and ready to learn!

6 ways to take a break and come back

to learning even stronger

🚶🏼‍♂️‍ Go for a walk

A walk in the fresh air clears mental blocks, moves your body and helps you return to your lessons with a clearer mind.

💤 Get some rest

Sleep isn’t a luxury - it’s a necessity. Never underestimate the power of a good night’s sleep. Your brain needs it to process everything you’ve learned.

❤️ Spend time with loved ones

Spending time with family or friends is a great way to recharge emotionally and refocus on what matters - this is essential for staying motivated.

🧹 Declutter your space

An organised environment helps create an organised mind - making it easier to focus on your lessons. Tidying up your surroundings can help you focus and avoid distractions.

🍏 Eat healthy meals

The right nutrition fuels your mind and body. A healthy diet keeps you sharp and productive, both in and out of your study sessions.

🧘🏼‍♂️ Practise mindfulness

A few minutes of mindfulness can do wonders for your stress levels, helping you approach learning with a calm, focused mind. Whether it’s deep breathing or a quick meditation session, mindfulness helps you stay calm and focused when you’re ready to study again.

Remember, giving yourself a break now can lead to even greater learning later. We hope you enjoyed our learning tips!

Keep learning and growing! See you in the next one,
