Student Spotlight: Wael's English Journey

Hey there!

Let’s be honest. Life gets busy, and sometimes the languages we once felt confident in start to fade…

That was exactly what happened to Wael. After years of focusing on other things, his English started to slip. The words were there, but the confidence was not.

Here’s his story:

“I’ve been living in Germany for 9 years, and while English used to be my second language, I lost a lot of it over time. Especially when speaking.”

Like many advanced learners, Wael thought his English would always be fine. But as he started using his third language, German, more often, he realised how much his English had suffered from lack of use.

So he decided to do something about it.

“I spent a long time searching for the right platform, and then I found Benjamin completely by coincidence. I honestly consider myself lucky.”

In January 2024, Wael decided to give his English learning a second chance, but this time differently… online. At first, he was not sure how effective online learning would be.

“I was sceptical at the beginning. I didn’t know if online classes could really help.”

But after just a few sessions, things began to change.

He started using real English again. New expressions. Useful vocabulary. Conversations that felt natural, not forced. Most importantly, he began to feel confident.

Even after reaching his original goals, Wael has chosen to keep learning with us.
